Description
United Way of Salt Lake’s Women United is a group of nearly 250 local women, connected to a national United Way Worldwide network, whose mission is to fight for girls and young women so that they are able to achieve a lifetime of success through the power of education. Last year alone, Women United raised close to half a million dollars for educational initiatives, and spent over 2,000 hours as volunteers in these same programs. The 2017 Power of Your Purse gala will raise substantial funds to kick-off our new STEM initiatives for at-risk students.
