Description

All of us have deeply set unconscious or implicit biases that are hidden from us as we interact and work in all types of settings. These biases emerge most often with gender, race/ethnicity, physical abilities, religion, weight, and sexual orientation, in addition to many other characteristics. At a time when so much is changing around us in organizations and communities, it is important for us to understand the impact of unconscious bias on employee engagement and productivity, organizational behavior and decisions, and team and department dynamics.

This interactive workshop is designed to help you learn more about unconscious bias and understand your own more deeply, while providingthe latest research around how this bias constantly seeps into organizational practices, processes, procedures, and environments. The end result will be an increased ability to mitigate biases, thereby improving your professional interactions.

Attendees will have the chance to hear from a global expert in women’sleadership and also dialogue and collaborate in small groups at various times throughout the morning.

Who Should Attend: Employees, HR Professionals, and Organizational Managers & Leaders. Individuals and employee groups are welcome. Team's can reserve a table for 8 or ½ table for 4.

Cost: $75.00 (includes full breakfast)
