About Us

Known worldwide as a hub for winter sports, Salt Lake City-Utah was awarded the 2034 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games on July 24, 2024, by the International Olympic Committee. The Organizing Committee for the 2034 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, established in February 2025, is responsible for staging the Games, as well as fostering a living legacy that benefits sport and engages Utah communities across the state. It is led by its Organizing Committee Board, with advisory guidance from a Steering Committee and subcommittees.
